2024 NC Newsletter Challenge Bootcamp

Newsletter Bootcamp Opens to NC Publishers

The NC Local News Workshop and Blue Engine Collaborative will help North Carolina local news organizations launch a newsletter or improve an existing newsletter in a new program beginning in early March.

If you’ve got a 2024 goal relating to launching or improving a newsletter product, this is for you. You know that newsletters are an important tool for building direct engagement with your community, distributing critical information and even creating feedback loops. But simply launching and sending a newsletter doesn’t guarantee success. The factors involved—from understanding your audience needs to growing your newsletter audience  to monetization—can often feel daunting. That’s where the expert coaches at Blue Engine come in.

Participants in our 6-week bootcamp will join four skills-building workshops with other participants where you’ll break down the specific mechanics of a great newsletter in a setting customized to your needs. Then, you’ll receive four weeks of individualized coaching from Blue Engine coaches to implement what you’ve learned  and get a head start on crushing your 2024 newsletter goals.
